Staff is extremely rude and actively discourages play. They make numerous excuses as to why a walk-in customer can't play. This is listed as a public course, but is operated as if it's a private course. I have been able to get on a couple of times (I practically had to beg the jerk behind the counter to do so), and found the course in good condition and challenging. It's really a shame the course is managed the way it is. My advice is to stay away from this place. That's what I've decided to do in the future. If you're in the area, try Indian Pines in Auburn or Grand National (RTJ Golf Trail) in Opelika. Don't waste your time driving to Stillwates just to be turned away by a bunch of jerks.
