The course rating is 33.7 and it has a slope rating of 112. Designed by Geoffrey S. Cornish, ASGCA, the Minnechaug golf course opened in 1959.

A 9 hole course in not the best condition. You need to keep the ball straight to score. The course is not long although you can be block, if you aren't in the right location. Hole #6 is a crappy par 3. If you go right near the green you could be in trouble. Hole #7 is an interesting short par 4 dogleg right, which is drivable. Hole #8 is an island green, which I liked. In ending, hole#9 ia another par 3 over water in a residential neighborhood. I would rate it a good starter course for beginners.
