The 18-hole "Steeple Chase" course at the Steeple Chase Golf Club facility in Mundelein, Illinois features 6,827 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.1 and it has a slope rating of 129 on Bent grass. Designed by Ken Killian, ASGCA, the Steeple Chase golf course opened in 1993.

This is a Mundelein Park District Course, and a very nice layout. It is an 'inter-home' course (threaded through many houses) , but remains a nice test and well thought out. Walking this track may be a bad choice due to distance to the next tees at times. One of many courses in this area, and remains one of my favorites.
