The 18-hole "Venice" course at the The Venice Golf and Country Club facility in Venice, Florida features 6,790 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.0 and it has a slope rating of 132 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Ted McAnlis, the Venice golf course opened in 2015. Jim Schell manages the course as the General Manager.

Challenging course, nicely maintained, Friendly, competent staff of three professionals, including head pro with Master Golf Teaching Professional certification. Surrounded by Audubon-certified preserve. One of four GEO-certified courses in the nation. Private, friendly, member-owned club. Very nice clubhouse, tennis, fitness, aquatic facilities.
