Walked off the course after 9 holes! Teed off at 7am as a 2-some behind a walking 4-some and 2 2-somes. Should have known I was in for an interesting morning when the 2-somes skipped a hole to get past the foursome. When we caught the 4-some at the fourth hole, the wait began. It's not that the group was slow but a riding 2-some is usually faster than a walking 4-some and that was our problem. When the ranger stopped by at the 6th hole and asked how we were doing, I told him just a little slow. His statement was "of course, you're a 2-some, that's the way it always is and you're still ahead of schedule"...then he drove off. Now I might not have been upset, but there were 2 open holes ahead of the group. At the turn, I learned that the course took care of that. Because there was quite a bag line at the clubhouse, they filled these holes by sending groups off the back. I don't mean to make it sound like the ranger was rude, he's probably just doing his job the way instructed, but having played hundreds of courses throughout the US and Canada, I've never been subjected to a situation such as this. And this was on a Thursday, not a weekend. As nice a facility as it is, I'd never go back.

Best value in the area. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in excellent condition considering the drought.Rough is usually tough but due to the drought wasn't really a problem. Greens were fast and hard to stick-play more bump and run- but they putted true. Have enjoyed this course the last 3 years on our outing and will play next year as well. If you retire here and want a small town golf course atmosphere but an above average golf course this is the one to join.

Played the course for the first time yesterday and was impressed. After 5 days of hard rain the course was cart path only. The course was in great shape and the greens were imaculate. Had a 9:30 Tee Time and was underway at 9:25 with 2 foursomes ahead us and we still managed to play 18 in 2 1/2 hours including having lunch at thelounge. Winter rates were $20 dollars for 18 including cart and is well worth the money.

I played this course in the summer of 2007. The course was in good shape considering the lack of rain for over 30 days. It was an enjoyable round and I would play there again. The price was very fair given some of the other courses in the area. Not my first choice in the area; but still a decent golf course.

We love this course. It's challenging, yet not long. We like to play it FIRST when we come to Fairfield Glade for a week of golf. It's the best value for the money near Crossville!

course is a goat ranch with acceptable greens. Everyone living on course is rude and nosy. Golf is cheap, no water, fairways are lousy, only the greens were up to snuff. Trash cans overflowing. Overall, better courses around..
