The Greens At Tanyard Golf Club, Louisa, VA

Hard to find first off. Course layout was interesting. Fairways were ok but a bit long. I give them a pass because of all the rain. Tee boxes were just ok. Greens were long and had bedn plugged not too long ago. Sand traps were disgusting. They were dirt with weeds. The whole course was run down. Could be nice if the put some money into it. Paid $35 for 28. Not worth any more. Should be able to find nicer courses innthe area.

One of the worst maintained courses I have ever played. The only difference between the fairway and the rough was the color of the grass. The fairway was so overgrown you can not use a fairway wood, but must use a hybrid - unless you land in one of the bare spots! Do not play here !
