The Links At Audubon, Memphis, TN

The Links at Audubon is a relaxed 18-hole municipal course that is exactly what you’d expect. It’s been in operation since the 1950’s. The course is located in the city, near the University of Memphis.

The course design is straightforward and beginner-friendly. You’ll find extra-wide fairways with a few clusters of trees. It’s light on hazards. Overall, the fairways are very straight, except for a dogleg right on Hole #13 (549 yards.) The biggest challenge on this course is the longer holes. Most holes are over 350 yards. Hole #17 is the longest at 565 yards. There are four tees to choose from.

You can walk the course in 4 hours. Pace of play can slow down on the weekend. It would be better if they didn’t allow walkers on weekends. You can book a tee time online or by phone. Amenities are basic. There’s a snack shop, pro shop and clubs are available to rent.

Maintenance is average. Yardage markers are sometimes difficult to see. The Links at Audubon is a good course for beginner and senior golfers, or for someone wanting a longer practice round. It’s worth a visit.

A typical urban, muni. Not an overly difficult course. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy. Decent value though.

Great Course very well kept pricey for a public course.

Haven't played Galloway, but Audobon is very decent, walkable, and very affordable. Sure do hope Memphis can get it's budget act together and keep this city-run course up and running.

new work on the greens and irrigation system has done wonders for this course. easy course to score on and if value is an issue, then this place is it. when galloway is too busy, try audubon. it won't dissapoint.

this is probably the second best municipal course behind galloway. the rough is very rough and the course needs better yardage markers. the new greens are faster and are a good addition to the course.

Course was in very poor condition. Greens were like concrete (dark grey in color as well). Nice scenery for a municipal course, but a fairly bad experience when losing balls in the fairway due to overgrown clover.
