The 9-hole "Meadow" course at the Pole Creek Golf Club facility in Tabernash, Colorado features 3,394 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Denis Griffiths, ASGCA/Ronald Kirby, ASGCA, the Meadow golf course opened in 1983. Mary Moynihan manages the course as the General Manager.

Pole Creek is one of those courses where it's almost a dissapointment to stand on the 18th tee, knowing this is the last hole of the round. If you've had a great round, you'll want to play again. If you've had a miserable one, you'll want to play again.

The course consists of 27 holes now, and offer up some fantastic views. There are a number of reasons why the course is a real test. Very rarely do you have a flat lie, the greens are very well protected, reading putts is an art, and when the wind gets up picking the right club is problematic. Course management is what Pole Creek is all about.

Bottom line though, it's a real pleasure to play there, and with new clubhouse and new irrigation system for 2009, it promises to be even better.
