Just returned, from visiting friends in Loveland, and had an opportunity to play Mariana Butte on two days. This course is absolutely beautiful and is taken care of, with pride. We enjoyed every minute of our time, both playing and enjoying a cold refreshment afterwards.
The personnel, on the course, clubhouse bar & restaurant and pro shop were very polite and attentive.
A must play when in the Loveland area. We will return.

I lived in Colorado 15 years ago and always enjoyed Marianna Butte. I have the misfortune of now living in California where golf courses half this nice are twice the price and usually include a six-hour round due to crowds. To me, all golf trips back to the front range require a stop at Marianna Butte.

The only two areas in which I'd down grade this course are as follows. First, I used to play here before it was raped by excessive housing development. Over-building has taken away from the natural beauty of the course. Second, I've always found the course to be in excellent shape with the exception of those who seem adamantly opposed to fixing thier ball marks on the green. The club house ammenities aren't fancy but their fine. The food is good and not expensive. The staff is exceptionally friendly.

I love this course and until I have the opportunity to leave America's toilet bowl (California), every trip back to Colorado for golf will include Marianna Butte!

Nice course with GPS on the carts...Greens are mostly in excellent condition....Now on the other hand, the ranger's do not keep play up....I have been here probably 4-6 times and everytime it has taken 5-6 hrs to complete 18 holes...Also the food cart does not make enough rounds....Other than that the course is great.

Mariana Butte is probably one of the most beautiful courses north of Denver. The course has amazing views of the Rocky Mountains and surrounding areas, provides an challenging and fun course and has one of the coolest gps systems at a golf course that I have seen.

The first hole is a exactly what you would expect, but as you begin widning through the course there are several where the tee-box is above the fairway, and a par-3 on the back that has a 125 yard drop from the tee-box to the green (I would use a PW here with a 3/4 swing, anything harder and the ball sails over).

Each hole presents unique challenges but nothing to scare you away or crush your confidence. The carts are equipped with GPS that show the entire hole, exact locations, where other carts are located, allows you to keep score and even order food for the turn. Other courses have this, I know, but this was my first time using it and it was great.

Really excited to play the course again and while I am only 30 minutes away, wish this was my home course.

This is a great course, open fairways and elevation changes make it a playable course for all levels. Unless your an avid hiker you will need a cart.

Very nice course with spectacular mountain views. On most holes find the fairway and you will be fine. Several elevated holes. Cart suggested
