The course is very challenging. Fast, rolling greens with difficult approaches. Water is in play on many holes. Scenery is great. Elk and deer are common on the course. The club has senior water rights so it typically is in good shape. Members can walk at any time, even during tournaments. Pace of play is usually enforced. Runs between 3:45 and 4:15.

Service is usually very good - a bit more informal than other CC's. As with most CC's there are a lot of part time younger staff in the Summer so service can be lacking at times. The regular staff are first rate. The club is kid friendly - lots of young families.

Clubhouse is older and getting a bit neglected since construction is starting on a new clubhouse in the next year. Attitude seems to be "why replace anything when it is getting torn down soon".

Initiation is one of the lowest in the metro area. Assessments have been high in the last few years. Irrigation system had to be replaced and a new clubhouse was approved. Older members tend to complain about almost everything. Probably the same at every CC.

Summary. One of the best courses in the area; casual, laid back attitude; growing younger membership; family friendly.

Note that the postage stamp picture is NOT Rolling Hills....

Course is fun to play and offers challenging greens that slope away from the mesas but do your research before you join the club. Restaurant service is not up to par with chills; capital assessments occur time after time; members complain more often than not.

Mtn course-difficult greens-laid out very well-

guests are treated very well. Private, so must play with a member.
Not well known but one of the best in the Denver area. a hidden jewell LPGA held one of their tour events here in 1974.
