Standard muni course. Good condition. Starters could not be any more rude & unprofessional. For those that come to Colorado Springs & their first interaction is this course, try to overlook the lack of adult supervision with regards to the starters and enjoy the course.
we loved this course
Starters and marshals are rude, unprofessional, and poor at spacing out the starts.
The only positive things with this course were that there was a reasonable twilight rate, and that there was 18 holes on the course. Other than that this course has no standards. T-shirts, cut-off jeans shorts, and baseball jerseys were worn by fellow patrons of this course. There might as well not have been a starter because the groups ahead of us and behind us were going off randomly at their own pace. As far as pace of play there was none. Not one person playing on this course had any sense of golf ettiquite. Divot marks on the greens, and people walking all through other fairways back and forth in the middle of teeing off were just a couple of other things that were just wrong here. Rather than celebrating being open since 1898 maybe get with the times and see where golf is here in 2011. GOdd luck with that.
I played this golf course on 5/22/2011. 18 holes and a cart was $54.00. The greens had nothing but winter kill. I feel robed. I would not recommend this course to anyone. The worse course I have played in a long time.
