Great value for a course that's maintained extremely well! I play this course regularly and the fairways and greens are always in top shape. Friendly staff, nice practice facilities, chipping green, putting green, pitching/sand green and a nice driving range. Concrete cart path from 1-18 that doesn't disappear during or between holes like on some courses. Full range of tee boxes. (They even have junior tees that aren't listed on the card.) Great place to play and you can't beat the price!

Saddleback is a nice course to walk with a full range of tee boxes for all golfers. One of the advantages of the course is the pro shop staff, always in a good mood and happy to see you @ arrival. I rate this course one of my favorites if you live on the Front Range north of Denver and south of Fort Collins.

Saddleback is located East of I-25 in Firestone, CO - a portion of Weld County which is unfortunate. However, the course is the perfect distance away from the Rocky Mountains to ensure a breathtaking view of the mountains both North and South. This creates an excellent backdrop for a course that is both challenging and diverse.

Although located in what I would call the plains of CO, the builders of Saddleback were smart, they added a number of man-made lakes at strategic locations around the course, including two holes where you are teeing off over the water to a green that sits like a small island on the other side. One is, as you can imagine, a Par 3, but the other is a Par 4 that tempts the long hitters to drive the distance over the water to the green. Needless to say my group saw several balls fly into the water.

Other holes include blind shots to the green and dog-legs severe enough to make you wonder where you are aiming. Overall I would rate this course as an excellent value considering it was only $50 for greens fees and cart on a Saturday morning. This would also be a great course to walk as well.

Anyone familiar with my reviews knows that I currently hold Mariana Butte and Legacy Ridge Courses as my two favorites. I think this just made the top three. I highly recommend it, just advise you not expect a blistering pace of play.
