The only thing I can say good about this course is the greens, and they are good at best. Recently played a round there with two beginners and 1 average golfer and was approached two time during the round about slow play. My group finished in 4 hours and 20 minutes. I think that is a pretty good pace of play. I guess they expect record breaking pace of play. I usually play at a 4 hour to 4 hour and 30 minute pace because I don't just grap a club and hit the ball. I will take a little time to think about wind direction and speed, up or down hill, pin placement, and I will take some time to read putts. I guess I play at a too high of a level for these people. If you want to try and break speed records and don't mind an easy, short, and poorly staffed golf facility, then this is the course of choice in the Arvada, CO area. I just wonder if anybody thinks that a pace of 4 hours and 20 minutes at a course where there are many new golfers is too slow. I have been playing for many years and have never been approached about slow play when on a 15 minute per hole pace. One other note is that when the rain stops in the area, you can count this course out as it will get in very poor condition, and the goose manure is every where. Good luck getting it all out of your spikes.

A nice neighborhood golf course.

Lake Arbor has some of the best greens in the Denver area. The course is relatively short with tight fairways that require accuracy and course management. An enjoyable layout for golfers of all skill levels.
