Wild Wings Golf Club, Woodland, CA

VERY pleased with this gem of a 9 hole course! Very close to Vacaville, Davis and even downtown Sacramento. Easy to get to using Highway 16. The greens are in great condition and the course is challenging for even a single digit handicap golfer. Really like the dual pin per hole design to make an 18 hole round more interesting.

I use a Garmin Approach GPS watch for distances to front/middle/back of greens which is very helpful and seems to match up very well with on-course markers.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Carts are new Yamahas. Their web site is easy to navigate and also book tee times. Pro shop also has some cool golf gear. I don't eat at the Nest restaurant very much but the few times I've had lunch there the food was good and really enjoyed the nice golf course view from the outside seating area.

Overall, it's difficult to find as good a value in the area for a wonderful round of golf at a beautiful course! Hope you get a chance to enjoy.

Worst course I've ever played! Fairways were in horrible condition, dry and dead grass. Rough full of crab grass and weeds. This could be a nice 9-hole course if maintained properly. Do not be misled by the pictures on their website. Those pictures show an immaculate course. They were probably taken the day the course opened.

Its a nice course to get your golf game better,,,, but I find it ridiculous how much they charge for their golf cart rentals ($12. per person) plus the cost to golf.
The snack bar was WAY overpriced and probably the worst service I've ever recieved.
BUT if you play during "twilight" hours (3pm til dusk) its a good deal - $21. inc's golf cart, and unlimited play til dark.
