Sherwood Forest Golf Club, Sanger, CA

This course is one of the most scenic in the central valley. It lacks the big club amenities as previously stated. Have held golf tournaments and staff wasn't always the kindest. Great value at 36 bucks on the mon-thurs. Fairways and greens are not always up to par as far as maintenance goes. Often flooded and chunks missing. It will always be one of my favorite courses since it is where I learned how to play.

This, in my opinion, is the prettiest golf course in the Fresno area. Challenging and tight fairways and greens that will make you work for your scores. Basically a flat course but with a river running through the middle it feels cool even on the hottest days. My only gripe is, as another reviewer wrote, lack of drink cart or closely spaced water fountains.
