Some of the best greens in the county. Very playable and the staff seem very professional. For the price it is a good round. Play the back tees if you are a 12 or under hndcp.I Always have a good time, and usually put up a good score.

Made the mistake of playing on Saturday behind multiple tournament groups of inexperienced golfers. Slow death - quit after 13 holes. Fairways are rough but cut short. Greens are excellent (the best part of the course). OK for the $$ but I won't go back.

Took my brother out for his first time out. A great course to break him in on. The lady in the snack bar very friendly and the guy (John) working the proshop was really friendly. It was a great day to be out there.

A great value course, a bit difficult to find with the new freeway construction on 215. Course in relatively good shape and the staff were very helpful.
Only negative was that we were paired up with a guy whose knowledge of golf etiquette was nil!!

It would be hard pressed to beat the value of this course with any where in California. The course plays just fine. Nothing negative to really get into. It is way more than I expected for the price. Most all the greens break away from the mountain and towards the valley. Two exceptions. You will figure it out.
No drivers or woods allowed at the range. I rely on a few practice drives, so that cost me. Practice greens speed are close to how the course plays. Speeds are pretty good little inconsistent but for the price I was just glad we had greens!
This is a no brainer! play it while its cheap.

Great value for the money. Clean and well maintained. Play was a lil slow, on a monday!...friendly staff. Course was not too difficult and good for all level players. Would definitely play there again.

Fun practice course... Tricky on some holes...

What started out as a good/fair experience rapidly deteriorated by the back 9. Greens on the front were well maintained, a little slower on the stimp then other regional courses, but none-the-less, manicured nicely. I enjoyed the different elevations and wasn't too bothered by the train or freeway traffic on several holes - but I am sure some folks might find those factors annoying. My group finished the front 9 at a quick pace since it was a weekday. However, unbeknownst to us the greenskeeping staff were out on #10-#18 and had preceded to sand and water each of the holes ahead of us. We had to wait on each of our approach shots for them to turn off the sprinklers, then preceded to putt through sand obstacle courses. We finally saw a Marshall (widebrim hat) on #15, whereby we expressed our frustration. I told him this was first experience at this course and our Men's Club was considering making this a tourstop next year. Also, it is customary for me to call in prior to our round to check if there are any tournaments or aeration plans that may affect our experience. The Clubhouse staff member was pleasant over the phone and apparently was not aware they were sanding the back 9. FYI, you cannot see the back nine while playing the front...its entry is under the bridge and on the other side of the freeway, thus out of view. It was the comment from the aloof & unapologetic Marshall that bothered us most. He said, "The greens roll better with sand". We weren't sure if he was serious or just a jackass. My buddy commented that most courses will give a courtesy notification if they are to do maintenance. The Marshall replied, "Yeah, we don't do that should have called first". No apology, no explanation...he made us feel like it was our fault. Well that didn't sit well with me, so after our round I opted to talk to the general manager, who by the way was very apologetic. He didn't give us a full refund, but he did find a way to rectify our situation by providing us with a fair (and thoughtful) reimbursement solution. Objectively speaking, the course is Fair-Good, but we suggested that the staff open the lines of communication, internally and amongst the patrons. We also had a couple of suggestions about the Marshall, but we'll keep those private.

Nice course design with plenty of bunkers, water hazzards and varying elevations on the holes. This course had the best maintained greens of any course I've played in the area. Unfortunately the play was extremely slow when I played it. Spent more time waiting to hit than actually playing, and never saw a marshall until the 15th hole. Took 5 1/2 hours to play on a WEEKDAY.
