I wasn't all that smitten by this course. Perhaps it is because I had a horrendous back 9 and also because there wasn't any course marshaling going on. We got stuck behind a six-some. Club, if one could call it that, reminded me of the inside of a Denny's. Okay, the course was pretty neat. Back nine has views of the Monterey Bay, but it also had 40 mph winds. That is probably pretty common.

Not a long course but one you have to play smart. You need to be below the pins on your putts and in the fairway on your approaches. Elevated tees help with good roll on most holes. Greens are very nice.

Beautiful course, well worth the small green fee

This course is situated right on the wetlands of Elkhorn slough. Thus far it is my favorite course in the area. It isn't overly pretentious as it is public, but membership driven.

I think this course will find it's way as my home course soon.

Rolling hills bring the challenging blind shot element into play.

Great test, fun course

If you haven't played this course in the past 6 months, you are missing out! The course is in fantastic condition. The greens were just aerated last week, but are getting better by the day. Prior to the aeration, the greens were wonderful. Fast and true with lots of break. Good putters love 'em. Bad putters curse 'em. Cart paths were recently paved. Beautiful views of Elkhorn Slough. Look for the Great Blue Heron that likes to hang out by the pond in front of the 3rd tee. Great food at the the restaurant. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff.
