The 18-hole "Arrowood" course at the Arrowood Golf Course facility in Oceanside, California features 6,721 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. Designed by Ted Robinson Jr., the Arrowood golf course opened in 2005.
I am new out here in California and havnt played any SoCal courses but Arrowood was a great opener. I was blown away by how beautiful the course was and how they worked it into the hill side. Hitting the ball relativley strait is a must otherwise you will be confronted with a "danger rattle snakes" sign. Good thing I hit it strait. The course has a nice country club feel and you can get some resonable twilight rates to keep your wallet happy. I just wish they had a bar to relax at after the round. The long and short of it, I was impressed and will go back again without a doubt.
Beautiful spectacularly maintained course. Not the most fun design as many holes are quirky. A little put off by staff for giving us a hard time about having 2 sets of clubs in one bag (we were on vacation), when the real reason the course slows down was the walkers since some of the holes are far apart. Not worth more than the $40 for twilight rates.
