The Golf Club At Copper Valley, Copperopolis, CA

Played a tournament here today. This was my first visit here. I was expecting something great but only got average. This course is nice, the scenery is nice the difficulty is average, the course conditions were below average for tournament play. They recently punched the fairways and greens and had ground under repair most every fairway somewhere. The entire course was soppy wet and spongie. As far I know it hasn't rained in days up here. No reason I can think of to have the course so wet. Still the course was nice as it goes. I won't be coming back however, because you can play much nicer courses for less money,(one just down the road in Angels Camp)for example. It's sad the course really doesn't live up to all the hipe or accolades you read about.

This course is absolutely beautiful! Fairways, sand and greens are very well maintained. The scenery is phenomenal. I highly recommend. Stay in one of the bungalows for their stay and play special. That's what my wife and I did and we thoroughly enjoyed.....
