I would say this "is" a beginner's course. That's all it is.

No one who could drive the ball more than 200 yards would want to play here. The only reason to play here is to take your wife, girlfriend or kids to get them interested in the game. There are rarely others on the course, so it is perfect for beginners.

It does, however, have great views of the Back Bay and Newport Dunes.

This is NOT an executive course. It is a par 3 course with holes 100 yards or less per hole. Although you have to hit off mats, I still recommend this course for wedge improvement. Very hilly with bunkers and trees blocking your shots, this course is not for beginners or the faint of heart. No driving range. Only a putting green for warm-up.
