this is amazing course it getting to be in great shape as it is under new managment it has really turned around and the course layout is great i suggest this course to any one and if you can shoot in the low 70s and if you shoot in the 60s here youu can shoot under par at any golf course around that is why jack nicklaus said it is the 6th hardest course he has ever play and when the golf course in great shape its green can roll to 16 which is past the pga tour you ju8st have t remeber that the greens all break to the witch's tit expect for 13 which is the witches hump back green so suit up and enjoy your round you will never forget it when your at quail ranch :)

Good course, difficult. Needs better maintenance though at times of the year. Tricky greens (all roll towards the Witch mountain).

The course is definitely a challenging course and the fairways were well kept, however many of the greens were in need of repair which they are receiving. You have to look to the mountain across the way; the locals call it the witch’s tit. Your ball will roll that direction no matter where you are putting – the gravitational pull will come into play. The trees never bother me of course as an Iowa boy these were not trees; sticks in the ground easy to get around, but tight greens and strong winds do come into play and it is not hard to find the sand.

I enjoyed the course and the prices were excellent. I did not think the club house was kept up well and agree with many, some infusion or cash would make this place a hot spot even if they raised the price slightly. They might then have a place to go to the bathroom comfortably.

Wow, could this course be operating at a higher level? Someone buy this course up...fix it up. Spend some money. All that said, who plays out here? Maybe that is why they struggle. Definately a course with high potential to be a very nice course. I played this course twice. First time I was so impressed I didn't mind the long drive over here. Second time??? Well, I never made it to a third time. Such a disappointment. Will never play there again, until I know someone spent money here. It has it all, just need more money to keep it up!!

Jewel in the High Desert

This quite, well kept course is away from the noise of city life. Set behind beatiful Lake Perris this course offer a relaxing time out shared only with friends and native wildlife. Watch out for road runners.....

The Challenger - Andy S

Starts with a great elevated tee and par five. Let it rip, but above all be straight. You have to be straight from the tee and accurate on the pin on all holes here. You will be rewarded for visualizing your shots here. The wind can be a factor and the course is hilly. Enjoy the course and don't beat yourself up.

Snowbird comments

This is a very challenging course with greens requiring patience and understanding as the 'breaks' are generous. Maintenance of the course is ongoing with much effort being directed to the areas adjacent to the fairways. High winds from time to time add greatly to the difficulty.
