Just went in Feb. 2018- The entire 'ranch' looks like a scene from the 1970s. Nearly nothing has been updated or maintained. The course itself is on life-support. I landed many shots on the fairway only to be punished because the fairways were dried out and hard-panned. Greens were below average but playable as compared to the fairway. Water costs or ownership just not caring about this course has left an indelible ugly stain on this course. I wouldn't be surprised if this course closed, but based on the lack of TLC this course should have been closed 15 years ago.

Yikes! I wrote a review about this course two years ago and mentioned how filthy the club house has become. I don't think they have cleaned it since then. Disgusting. Course has also gone downhill and yet they charge almost $50 on the weekend. Driving range is in a cow field. Ranks in the top 10 of lousy courses.

Dry spots all over in the fairways. There were weed clumps on the greens. The greens had been sanded and punched and that was not disclosed when I called or when we arrived. They charged rack rate for greens that were almost unplayable. Pro shop staff was unfriendly almost to the point of rude. There are way too many decent public courses within 20 mles of Dry Creek to spend money or time there. This place has seen better days. I won't return.

Course is ok, not maintained as well as it should be. HORRIBLE management, very rude, very unskilled and unprofessional.

Love this course!!

Golf was ok, course was tight. Don't play here if you don't want your car to be broken into!!! I played there Saturday the 16th of August and my Truck was broken into along with 2 other vehicles. When the Galt police arrived they said they were there just 2 days ago with another report of a break in. When I talked to "manager" on duty they did and said next to nothing. Save your time and don't risk getting broken into... play somewhere else!

I played this course on a Sunday 5/25 am and the pace of play was great. the course overall demands some course knowledge and definitely some course mgmt. there are lots of huge trees there that can block your approaches to the greens as well as any shots you thought you might have. there were a few holes where a 3w was much better to lie up with, than blow out the fairway or go to far. some of the greens are crowned and they were firm the day I was there, so it was better to adjust and let the ball roll a bit. while they were firm they were really fast too... I mean really fast. then the last thing is the sand traps. there are a number of greens that have 3 or 4 really deep or high faced traps. while the sand it great, plugging a ball on the face if your short is something you will not soon overall the course is fun and has lots of challenges. its not the most scenic or best place as its right next to a freeway and the noise is sometimes heard. the pro shop is small with a few items and the bar has a really great biscuits and gravy if your hungry. they have a driving range which is a dirt field, you get to hit off good grass, but the balls are out of the lakes and don't fly real far. but at least its an area to hit off the ground and not a mat. I would play this course again as it had challenges that I want to beat next time. smilin steve

Very cool place to launch!

This is one of my favorite "non-expensive" NorCal golf courses. The maintenance is excellent. The course is challenging and requires game management, not just banging away at the ball. I've played here now about 5-6 times and I've really enjoyed it every time. I do agree with one of the commenter's that the staff could be more friendly. They are a bit cold. If you're there early on a Saturday or Sunday, try the breakfast sandwich from the restaurant .. it's excellent.

Great course, well maintained fairways and greens. Challenging but fair.
Staff could use a few lessons on their people skills !

A great course to play and enjoy

Super maintenance (fairways, greens, and in-betweens). Outstanding landscaping with many species of conifers and diciduous trees. Even when your game isn't up to your capability, it's well worth the time to be on the course. Although not a particularly tough course,it's a good golfing experience.
