On a day without wind, which I am told is unusal this was a pleasure to play. No hold ups at all and course in relatively good condition. Watch out for the unes on the first few holes and lots of scrub after that.

The weather was nice but the wind was a bit excessive. Pace was great. Didn't have to wait around for groups ahead. Teamed up with another single and had an amazing outing. Will go back when the wind isn't as bad.

Wildlife and views fantastic. Greens not so fantastic. What a shame! A friend of mine raved about this course as a must play a few years ago. Fix the greens and this course could be top rated again. Staff friendly. Slow play, nearly 5 hr round. Marshall non-existent. Fairways/tees great shape.

Great experience, but not when windy. The staff helped us get a time at another course on a windy day; we then came back and played here to our complete delight! Lots of trees, well groomed fairways with good grass, greens in great shape. Will play here again.

summer experience cheap- with practice balls $40
course with generous well kept fairways & varied holes but greens variable
off handicap of 12 played off back tees but found all holes accessible as far less use of fairway bunkers to penalise
great experience with wildlife but water/ice facilities need improving
with an upgrade could be as good as silver rock !!??

Awesome Desert Course!!!

FYI - I'm a 13 handicap and I've only played this course in the summer (I've played it 4 times in the past 3 years). First off, if you arrive at the course and the wind is howling, I would NOT recommend playing this course (you will NOT enjoy yourself). This course is one of my favorite courses in the Coachella Valley when the wind isn't blowing. The best thing about this course is that there are NOT any houses on the course - it's very scenic. The course is a really good value with summer green fees topping out at $25 - $30. Let me tell you that this course is pretty tough. If you aren't straight off the tee, you will accumulate a bunch of penalty strokes. The fairways are pretty wide but if you spray your drive, you're in the desert crap and you'll be hitting three off the tee on most occassions. The greens are always in great shape and they're pretty fast (probably a 9.5 - 10.0). Another good thing about this course is that you can finish a round here in under 3 hours. There are never many people on the course (probably because it can be pretty difficult) and this allows for a very quick round. When it's not too windy, I love this course. It's a really great challenge and I plan on going back this summer!!!
