A fun course with some great views of the bay/city/bridge. You probably won't find a flatter course in the area. Great value for such an entertaining round. Very well maintained muni.

Nicely maintained municipal course in beautiful Coronado, CA.
With palm trees, bay views, San Diego-Coronado Bridge views, a good layout, a practice range, friendly staff- all at popular prices... What's not to like?!

The course plays and feels like a Florida sandbelt course....ok but a little uninspiring with several back and forth holes. What really makes it worth a visit is the setting. Several holes are on the Bay and one stretch has views across the marina to the Hotel del Coronado. virtually every hole has a view of something: water, the bridge, downtown or the shipyards. For a golf course in the heart of one of San Diego's premier neighborhoods, at $25 walking it's an unbeatable value. Late afternoon play can be on the cool side, so take a jacket even if it's sunny when you start.

loved this course. the beauty of the san diego area all wrapped up into a nice stretch of 18 holes. the course features scenery of the surrounding coronado island with sailboats, seagulls and the occasional splash of someone's drive into the water. it's not too difficult of a course but can cause some trouble to those prone to slice their tee shots. loved the facility itself and had a great time playing this course, i will be visiting it again very soon. for those of you in the los angeles area wanting to play this, you must book tee times 2 weeks in advance if you want to get a 4 some for the weekend.

Well maintained city course right on the san diego bay. $25 to walk for the view here is great. It has a slope of 117 and plays exactly that, not too difficult at all. Most mornings are hard to walk on, but by 1100 we can usually walk on as a two-some.

Played this course in 1980 when I had just picked up the game. It was the best course I had played at the time - great memory. Played it for the first time since just a few weeks ago during a business trip as a tune-up round for a Torrey Pines outing later in the week. Coronado is still one of my favorite courses. Great staff, got to warm-up on grass, and the course is a fair test and in great shape. It is a great value.
