Morgan Creek Golf and Country Club, Roseville, CA

Most reviews of this course are older and the course has become way overrated by the owners and it has fallen far below par compared to the other courses in the area and price range. Overall condition of the course is ok played it this morning, but will not be going back anytime soon. Catta Verdera offers a much more premium experience as does Whitney Oaks for the same price. This course struggles to even hold it's own when compared to offerings such as Turkey Creek, Teal Bend, and Empire Ranch and they are a much better value. Ownership group is on the right track with Rocklin Golf Club but clearly has missed the mark with this course and pricing.

Nice course! Got the round as a gift and wow what a gift. Course in excellent condition and staff very professional. Even the food and drinks were good. My round stunk but the sting was takne out by some great Bloody Marys!!! Hear this course is now open to the public. Bit pricey but worth it.

Great course especially for the price. Charlie Gibson is a great guy and does wonders for golf courses. He ran my home course of Windsor golf course and when he left it truly hasn't been the same since. I know him personally from being a close friend of his son and his way with people and loving the game shows here. Best course in the area in top notch shape a must play especially for the skilled golfer looking for a tournament golf course. 5 star

Played Morgan Creek this morning 11/3/2009. This course is spectacular. I have played most of the upscale courses in the sacramento area and would have to say this is the best. The conditions were pga tour caliber and the greens were the best i have played in the area. This is a private course which allows public play on Monday and Tuesdays. Golfnow.com has great specials $49. Darkhorse which is continually ranked in the top 15 courses in california can't hold a candle to the conditions of this course. Both are
great courses but i was truly impressed with this layout. Top Notch. If you get a chance play it.
