Laughlin Ranch Golf Club, Bullhead City, AZ

We had a very poor experience overall. Three tee times were booked for a group of 12 starting at 2pm. on a Sunday afternoon. The first group did not get off until after 2:35 pm. due to being behind and a lack of carts. The beverage cart made one early appearance and was not seen again (later we found out she left early as well). The bar in the clubhouse closed at 3pm so we could not buy any type of beverages or food. We reached the 14th hole and figured we might get two more holes in with 1/2 hour of light left. Low and behold, they turned on the automatic sprinklers and ran everyone off the course. I went to speak with the pro about the situation and found the clubhouse was closed as well. Overall, a verly poorly run operation for such a very beautiful course. I would suggest playing Mohave or Los Lagos instead as they seemed to care much more about the customers experience. Just my two cents worth.

I played this course in the dead of summer, and found the fee with cart to be terrific. However, my complaint does lie with the staff. Because of the summer heat, they closed the pro shop at 1 pm, leaving no one to buy water from. Granted, we should have taken more out on the course with us, but it also made me wonder what would have happened if anyone in the group had had a medical problem. Oh, well... the nature of the beast when you play golf in the desert at 11 am in June. Still... the course itself is challenging and beautiful! I prefer Mojave Resort when I'm in the Laughlin area, but the Ranch could be a good choice for a second day of golf.
