Big Sugar Golf Club, Pea Ridge, AR

Reopened in summer of 2015. Great improvement to greens since then. Rates are low and course is in decent condition, tee boxes are average. Tough course and the management is trying hard to get it in great condition.

This is a great golf course. 5 tees for all levels of ability. Great greens. Well kept fairways and roughs. Distances are well marked with stakes in the middle of the fairways that also provide excellent aiming points. This course also is very scenic. I heard and read about this not being a very good course. I found this to be very untrue and unfair to the course. I rated the the course a 4.5 out of 5 mostly because the is no drinking water on the course and some of the cart paths are a ways away from the greens and require quite a climb. If you want a great challenge play this course.
