First time playing this course in over a year. With the exception of well maintained greens, this course is in horrible condition. The tee boxes are raggedy and covered in broken tees and cigarette butts. Its darn near impossible to tell difference between the rough and fairway. Its all some crabgrass-like crud. The bunkers are not raked out and have weeds growing in them. Not to mention the fact that they are like hitting off the asphalt in the parking lot. I could go on and on, but what it comes down to is you're better off taking your $35 elsewhere.

Friendly service; wide open layout; breezy; no frills; simple course, not expensive, open tee times. If you are just looking for a friendly game in the sunshine, perfectly adequate. Greens keeping budget must be minuscule. If your are looking for serious golf, look elsewhere.

I am from Wisconsin and I guess, ugly and horribly maintained golf courses are the normal in the area of Arkansas, but I am not used to this utter crap. I have visited a few courses in the $30 - $40 price range near North Little Rock, and they are awful.

I worked for a golf course for 4 years when I was younger and we did not stand for this kind of maintenance or lock there of. I guess I can understand that the soil in Arkansas is tough to deal with so the grass can be spotty but this was way worse than spotty, also some things there is no excuse for, no drainage, not pumping out sand traps and raking them, placing the tee markers on the actual tee box, not picking up the abundance of litter, not having water coolers out there, not having a beverage cart on the course, I could go on and on. The greens however actually were in very good shape which makes me think the rest of the problems are just laziness. Other than the green the maintenance of the course is awful!

This course also does not seem to believe in options for the customer. You have to pay for 18 even if only want to do 9. We only wanted to do 9, the nice gentleman at the counter understood and offered us the Senior rate which was $4 less and said if we decided to do 18 just go ahead, which may of been the only nice thing they did even though we still only did 9. Also, there is no option to walk for a lower price.

Another reviewer said, he has played worse. I agree, but only one course was worse than this that I have ever played. That was in the Little Rock area as well.

I gave this course an overall rating of 2.5 because the fairways were GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!! I'm not talking about the rough I'm taking about the fairway where you should have an advantage because of better conditioned grass and clean lies. It was like being in a cow pasture. The greens were some of the best I've ever been on so my advice would be to put the same kind of effort you put into the greens into the course itself because the layout is nice. I played here several years ago and it was much better condition wise then. The course has the potential to be one of the best if not the best public course in LR if they make the effort to get the fairways right. You can't tell some of the fairways from rough. I was very displeased with the condition of the course and I won't make another effort to play this course when visit LR again. Go somewhere else unless you have a confirmed RECENT report from someone you trust that the course is much better than it is right now.

Played here for the first time today. The greens were phenomenal. Fast, but great. From reading the reviews, I had thought the fairways would have been in better shape. However, on the front nine they weren't as good as I expected, but some on the back nine were good. I imagine it will get better later on this year. The wind had really started to pick up right as I got there. I never played a links course before, and needless to say, it was a challenge. I would avoid this place on a windy day. 13-15 is right by some houses. The wind caught my ball on my second shot on 13 and carried it right into someone's backyard. There was no fence, so I searched for my ball and couldn't find it, so I dropped another ball away from the house and hit while the dog in the window of the house was yapping away. Not a bad course, and I'll return there later in the spring or early summer, hoping the fairways will be in better shape. In some spots, it was like hitting off of dirt and weeds, but I've played on worse. Great fun course. If you want to learn to play golf in high winds, this is definitely the place to go.

I play this course often. The course and staff are fantastic! Just played the day after Thanksgiving and the fairways and greens were just awesome! Come here on a windy day and you will have your hands full.

This is truly an incredeble play experience. The holes are long and flat with a good bit of water mixed in. The great part about it for me is that there are no trees for me to hit; PERIOD!!!! (i always hit trees) It is well kept and it is a pretty good value too for such a nice course. I will certainly be back again!

Probably the best course for the money in the Little Rock area. It's a links course, so avoid it on a windy day. Greens are the best around. Definitely worth playing, they did a good job here.

Very good for the average golfer, yet challenging for us low handicappers. A long course, yet you cannot hit driver very often. Beware of the 2-3 ft tall grass, and the fairway bunkers. This course is in great condition. Some tees are a little jagged, but the fairways and greens especially are immaculate!!!

This is an exceptional value for the average to above golfer. The course is in fantastic shape, the greens are excellent, and it is just right for making you want to play it again. No matter if you want the challenge that some of the holes present or you just enjoy wide open links-style courses, there will be something to return for. Nothing wrong with the price, either. Make sure someone familiar with the course goes with you if you have to tee off on any of the back holes, as it can be a bit confusing to find in the event that you can't start on No. 1. Overalll, try it and I think you'll like it!
