May 31st 2018 if you haven't played Cypress Creek lately you need to give it a try Ricky and Janet have really put a lot of work and effort into bringing this course back to life after years of neglect during the foreclosure.

I am from out of town & played this course 06/11/2011. I am sad to say I heard the course has since closed. I also heard it's up for auction, so maybe someone will buy the close & replace the bent grass greens (will be dead after one week in the summer with no rain or maintenance) with a hybrid bumurda that's more suitable for this area anyway. I didn't play well today, but it wasn't the courses fault. The course was in good shape. My friend took me to play here for my birthday. We played on a Saturday. With what my friend payed for our fees, it's no wonder the course was struggling. I think it cost over a $100 for the 2 of us to play. Even on a weekend, that's too much. It was a beautiful course though. Bottom line, if it reopens, I would come back, but only on a cheaper weekday.

Long course. Plays over 6300 from white tees. Greens were nice with a lot of the sand bunkers labeled "ground under improvement". Bring water - not many coolers around the course.

Just played can't understand the negitive comments! Greens rolled great a very little grow in needed in a few spots. fairways are in good condition, just wet from all the rain. I highly recommend this couse to anyone.

This course was once a gem. The best in the LR area. Now that they are under new owners/management, it is nothing more than a hyped up cow pasture. Weeds in the fairway and ok greens. They took away the GPS on the carts. The do not do anything other than cut the grass from time to time and rake in the $50 green fees. They think the course will take care of itself but it won't. It's called upkeep people. But hey as long as folks keep going out there paying the $50 for a $25 course they'll keep charging it. The ONLY reason I went out there yesterday was because of a gift cert that I had to use. You are better off going to Country Club of Ark where they care about course conditions and have done things to make the course nice. Don't visit that poor excuse for an upscale course. It's a has been course.

Cypress Creek is one of the best public courses in Arkansas and should be given some consideration if you are in the area. Between the two courses at Greystone, this one is my personal favorite and the most difficult. There is lots of water, mounds, and natural areas. The 16th features and island green while the finisher is a heroic par 5 that curls around a large lake.

An awesome layout, but a bit on the pricey side. I would say it's worth it, but they have really let their greens go. Still worth checking out, there are some really fun holes.
