Exceptional golf course that anybody could play on. I absolutely loved my time here and they had some of the nicest staff you could ever meet. They have fresh green apples at the courses beginning and water filling stations throughout the course. Tee times can become backed up but that does not take away from the amazing experience I had

"The Experience at Farmlinks" was fantastic! My group and I got the all-inclusive overnight package with all you can play golf in one day, lunch, dinner, a night at the cottage, and breakfast the next morning.
We arrived at the course that morning about 45 minutes before our tee time. We were taken care of in the pro shop, including a cooler full of drinks (FREE), then escorted to the range for FREE practice. The starter came to us when our tee time was open and escorted us to the 1st tee. The course layout is magnificent! Along the course, there are FREE bottles of water, FREE snacks, and FREE ice-cold mango scented towels to cool you off.
After the 1st 9 we enjoyed lunch--very good Ziti. Once we finished our 1st round, we were escorted from the pro shop to our cottage overlooking the 18th fairway.
The cottage was AMAZING!!!
We played 18 more holes (2 of our group actually went fishing near the 17th hole).
When we returned to the cottage, 2 chefs were there cooking a 3 course steak dinner for us. When the dinner was ready, they called us to the table and served us salad, steak+, and dessert. Fantastic.
Another chef came by the next morning and cooked breakfast for us. This time we were served a huge breakfast of biscuits, sausage, bacon, gravy, eggs, grits, and more.
I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that the experience as a whole that we enjoyed at Farmlinks was absolutely top-notch.
The course is in almost immaculate condition. The course layout is very interesting. The staff could not possibly be more hospitable. They truly make you feel like it is their goal in life to serve you. We felt like kings while we were there.

Farmlinks is a demonstration golf course, with many different grasses on the greens and fairways. For one price- $125 a day, you can play all you want, get a home cooked lunch, use the practice facility, and have unlimited non-alcoholic drinks and green apples all day. Three of the four par threes have about a 200 foot elevation drop. The holes and grasses are gorgeous. We met the Pursells, who own the golf course and the farm and they were very nice. This place is a slice of golfing heaven on earth and is equivalent to the nicest places to play in the U.S., but at a lower price. Check out their website. This place is spectacular and very highly recommended!

Farmlinks is a fantastic course. Conditioning was wonderful, the colors of green contrasted perfectly all over the property. Great par 3s. Just numerous stand-out holes in general. I've played several courses in Alabama, and this is the best, aside from Limestone Springs.

The guy who rated this before me obviously doesn't have any friends since he is playing by himself!!! FarmLinks was is a wonderful place with the best customer service. The Pursell's are God loving people and the staff is the best I have ever seen. Thanks FarmLinks...I will be back.

Was the most terrible expierence i have ever had. Have to drive up there twice before i ever get to play because i was by myself and then the service was awful. So much for #1 in customer service. All i can say is i had my first and last expierence at the wonderful farm links. Heck i could have played the same level of diffulcty at coosa pines and been treated better than i was at this course. to sum it all up TERRIBLE!!!!!

Very friendly staff GREAT value if you can get 2 rounds in and if not it's still worth the trip. If we ever play Alabama courses again we'll absolutly play again.

Field of Dreams for Golf

Unbelievable. Out in the middle of nowhere. Wonderful experience. One of the nicest experiences I have ever had playing golf. Perfect except for no beer, BUT its so nice you forget about it.

Overall excellent – Have played 4 times over the last year.

The course is challenging because it is very long and very beautiful. The course has alsways been well manicured at all times. Start early in the day and if the course is not crowded you can play another nine holes for no extra cost. Service of staff is very good. Your fees include lunch and the all meals have been exceptional. Cold apples are found on ice around the course for a quick source of energy. Fresh towels cart and refreshments from the snack cart are also included with fees. Be aware - NO Alcoholic beverages are allowed.
