The 18-hole "Dogwood" course at the The Lakewood Club facility in Point Clear, Alabama features 7,063 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.6 and it has a slope rating of 124 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Perry Maxwell, ASGCA/Joseph L. Lee/(R) Bobby Vaughn, the Dogwood golf course opened in 2017. Pam Spillyards manages the course as the Club Manager.

Great service by the staff, all around they went out of their way to make you feel welcome and make sure your needs were being addressed. The driving range could use some up keep but the courses were in great shape. The courses had some great par 4s that really required you to work the ball. I was surprised by the elevation changes on the Lakewood course, the Dogwood has been upgraded and now has plenty of water to go along with the 200 year old oak trees. These courses are well worth your time.
