I played here today and thought that the course was in excellent shape. The staff was top notch. This is the way every golf course should be.

Limestone Springs is fantastic in every aspect... scenery, conditioning, value, etc... I can't say that it's PERFECT, but really, really close lol... pictures don't do it justice, so take your next golf trip to Alabama and see it yourself!!

I played this course in August 2007. A great course one of my favorites. In the middle of no where other than the Sac-of-Suds convience store. The course was in excellent shape despite the fact that it was 95 degrees with 100% humidity. The views were great and we were the only ones on the course. My brother shot his lowest round ever 8 under 64! I on the other hand got to watch his good round. The staff was so kind that they sent another score card up to us in NY so we could get my brother a plaque.

Being a poor ole country boy, it is important to me how the staff treats me. All the staff and fellow golfers were great. The course was beautiful, well maintained and challenging. Many holes have views that are so tranquil, that I think it helped my game-).

Probably he best public golf course in Alabama! What a fantastic place. I played it last week and was blown away. The staff is great, the food is fantastic and the course is breath taking!. Play after 3pm on a weekday and the cost is under $50.00. The greens are the slickest I've ever played and do take getting used to. If you want to play a world class course close to Birmingham, this is it.

Everything said below is 100% true. I took advantage of the twilight special, and played after 3 and had a very reasonable rate.

By far the best course in North Alabama. It really is a fantastic course. The greens are fast, almost like ice. The fairways are tree lined but are easy to reach. Numerous sand bunkers, (found about all of them :). Worth the drive from anywhere. The course is managed by Honours Golf. To be honest, the best course they manage. Overall a truly 5 star course.

this is a great course

This course is worth a drive from anywhere. The finest public access course I have played anywhere in the southeast. Hospitality and service I have not found at any other course (public or private). Greens are smooth as silk.Fairways are very well kept.Rough is somewhat forgiving if recently mowed, but difficult if grown deeper for tournaments. One of the most beautifully scenic courses I have ever played.
