Super friendly staff. Great course. A very pleasant golfing experience. Greens were perfect (mid-august), fairways, and tee boxes in excellent shape also. I took advantage of the twilight special which made it very affordable.

Pricey but feels "neat" to be in town on some holes and in the middle of nowhere on others. Some beautiful views and wonderful greens and fairways! Wonderful shop and grill. A must play in B'ham!

I played twilight rate here an hour early, THANK YOU!
The course is nice. A lot of up and down holes. The greens look a little rough, but they play fast and smooth!
I love the city view on some of the greens. This place is not too expensive, but its not cheap either. You get exactly what you pay for. I liked the course and the people there. This is an excellent urban course. I'll see you guys again soon.

Good "in town" golf, but a little expensive....

I frequent the practice facilities at this course often and I've played the course a few times in the last 10 months. Highland is an old course (over 100 years old) and as a result it is a short course by today's standards. However, it is nice to drive a couple of par 4's. The course is kept in great shape (especially the greens) and it is suprisingly tough given its diminutive length. There is a lot of elevation change and a couple of nice views of downtown Birmingham. For the money, there are better values but not within 5 minutes of downtown.
