This course has some good points and some bad ones.
The good:
1. The price is very good at about $20 per round
2. Some of the holes are designed well.
3. This course is not very crowded.
4. The greens are in better condition than many courses in this price range. The greens are slow, but put true allowing many long putts to go in.
The bad:
1. The fairways do not exist. They are not defined. They are full of weeds.
2. The course is in need of work to carts, cart paths, club house, and other areas.
3. This would be a good course for a beginner, but the design of some of the holes, particularly on the back nine, prevent this course from being enjoyable for most beginners. Number 10 particularly has no clear landing zone other than the green.
4. The condition of the course requires that you play it as lift clean and place just to be fair to the player. Unless you like to find mud patches, roots, rocks, holes, and the like in the middle of what should be the fairway. In fairness the front nine is in better shape than the back nine, but I still do not like playing across a road in the middle of a par 5. I might play here again if the conditions improve.

Great place to go once every month or two. Greens are above average. Back nine can be challenging.

I'm new to the game but a decent course based on what I've seen. Nice greens. 15 & 16 are killer. Several challenging holes. Toughest holes in my opinion are 10 & 17. Good value.

After a long drought season, the greens were a little patchy on a few holes, but in great shape compared to some of the other local courses. The fairways were weedy in some spots and need definition. The back nine adds some character with intersting holes and scenery. All in all an enjoyable play and good value.

Brookside is an OK place to play a round of golf, the greens are good, but the fairways need a little work. But all in all this place isn't to bad
