Valley Golf Course


The 9-hole "Valley" course at the Valley of the Eagles Golf Links facility in Haines, Alaska features 2,900 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Mark Miller, the Valley golf course opened in 2005. Stan Jones manages the course as the Owner.

When I played the course in 2006, it was an absolute goat track. The course almost was not a course. But what set this apart from the others was the scenery. On the water, it overlooked the entire bay and up into the mountains. Though not a spectacular course, play there for the scenery.
