TaylorMade was founded in 1979 by Gary Adams in his garage. TaylorMade began by being one of the first companies to make and sell drivers made with metal shafts.
TaylorMade makes all kinds of golf clubs, including woods, irons, wedges, putters and rescue clubs, which are also known as hybrid clubs or utility clubs.
TaylorMade offers custom fitting of its clubs through one of six TaylorMade performance labs. Special technology is used to measure the swing of the golfer to customize his clubs.
