By Jim Hagerty

Nike began selling premium golf equipment in 1998. Just as its shoe manufacturing exploded with Michael Jordan's influence. Nike's golf line became an industry benchmark for quality and performance after Tiger Woods became its top endorser. However, in 2016, Nike decided to step away form golf products and provide more focus on other sports. Still, various Nike Golf products like the Slingshot II can be found on the secondary golf market.

Construction

Slingshot II bags are made of strong nylon, stitched to an equally durable hard rubber base and top. Its strong plastic lining keeps the outer material strong and upright and clubs secure. Pockets are independently attached with strong stitching, while the top is fitted with snap locks to house the included nylon rain hood

Divider System and Carrying System

With a 14-way padded divider, the Slingshot II is built to keep clubs safe, minimizing rattle and excessive movement. The divider fits all club sizes and runs the length of the shell. The Slingshot II also boasts a top-center carrying handle, made of durable plastic. Its single, padded shoulder strap is designed to make transporting clubs to and from a cart easy and swift.

Accessories

The roomy Slingshot II cart bag includes seven forward-facing pockets and a mesh drink holder. The integrated tee holder keeps tees visible and easily retrieved without digging into the pockets. The rain hood fits securely over the top, keeping clubs dry and stable.
