TaylorMade Rossa AGSI+ Tourismo Putters

The TaylorMade Rossa Tourismo putter falls into the category of so many modern putters with unusual shapes and designs. This putter features an oversized and rear-shated mallet putter head with movable weights to help customize it for players. Though no longer in production, they are still available on the secondary market.

Design

The Rossa Tourismo is a large open mallet head design finished in black. With extreme perimeter weighting, this club elongates the sweet spot across the face to minimize the negative impact of off-center hits and make even poor putts roll well and have a chance of dropping into the hole.

Alignment

With such a large head--specifically such a long distance from the face to the back--the Rossa Tourismo makes use of the design choice with a long, straight, white line alignment aid extending from the center of the sweet spot to the back of the club. This helps players line up every putt correctly.

Movable Weights

The Rossa Tourismo model features two movable weights at the back of the putter, one at the heel and one at the toe. This enables each player to customize the weight distribution around the perimeter to maximize his strengths.

AGSI+ Insert

The face of this putter has a red, soft AGSI+ insert designed to promote a smooth rolling putt. The 14 grooves in the insert are designed to promote overspin and minimize backspin and get the ball rolling sooner, eliminating much of the chance the ball will skid off the putter blade.
