Workday Charity Open: Full Results and Payout

By Ryan Watson

Justin Thomas endured a whirlwind of emotions during the Workday Charity Open. Thomas found himself losing early in the 4th round only to be leading by 3 strokes with just 3 holes remaining. Unfortunately for Thomas, 2 bogeys and a birdie from Collin Morikawa forced a playoff between the two golfers. On the 3rd playoff hole, Thomas’ wayward tee shot set up an anticlimactic 2-putt to hand Morikawa his second win in 24 starts. The result means Morikawa has won more times than he has failed to make the cut in a PGA Tour event. The win made Morikawa over a million dollars richer and catapulted him up the FedExCup standings.
