Rory McIlroy wins the first World Golf Championship event of the new PGA Tour after beating Xander Schauffele in a playoff for the WGC-HSBC Champions in Shanghai. The win was just McIlroy’s 2nd start of the year since winning the Tour Championship, and follows a T3 finish at last week’s ZOZO Championship.
