2019 Tour Championship: Starting Points

The Tour Championship updates its format for 2019 as it rreturns to Atlanta’s East Lake Golf Club. The tournament, open only to the top-30 in the FedEx Cup standings, will now directly decide the final standings of the FedEx Cup. In order to give advantage to golfers who have been performing well all season, golfers will be given a strokes advantage depending on where they are in the standings prior to the Tour Championship. The following is the breakdown of each golfer’s starting point as they chase the $15 million awarded to the winner.

4. -6: Patrick Reed

5. -5: Rory McIlroy

6-10. -4: Jon Rahm, Matt Kuchar, Xander Schauffele, Webb Simpson, Abraham Ancer

11-15. -3: Gary Woodland, Tony Finau, Adam Scott, Dustin Johnson, Hideki Matsuyama

16-20. -2: Paul Casey, Justin Rose, Brandt Snedeker, Rickie Fowler, Kevin Kisner

21-25. -1: Marc Leishman, Tommy Fleetwood, Corey Conners, Sungjae Im, Chez Reavie

26-30. Par : Bryson DeChambeau, Louis Oosthuizen, Charles Howell III, Lucas Glover, Jason Kokrak


Media Coverage

Television coverage is provided by the Golf Channel and NBC. Thursday and Friday coverage is on the Golf Channel 1-6pm ET. Saturday starts on the Golf Channel 1-2:30pm ET before switching to NBC 2:30-7pm ET. Sunday coverage starts 12-1:30pm ET on the Golf Channel before ending on NBC 1:30-6pm ET. Streaming coverage is available through PGA Tour Live, available through NBC Sports Live. Radio coverage is also available through PGA Tour Radio on SiriusXM and PGATour.com .
