Bazooka Geomax is a line of golf clubs made by Tour Edge Golf. The line includes drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons and putters. Each club features a distinctive yellow band on the bottom side of the club head. Tour Edge Golf's motto for this line is "maximum control through geometry."
Fairway woods are clubs that are used primarily to hit the golf ball out of the fairway. Some golfers, especially beginners, will choose to use a fairway wood off a tee instead of a driver to gain accuracy. Bazooka Geomax fairway woods have a 25-gram sole weight made of tungsten that moves the club head's center of gravity farther back. This gives the club a higher, longer launch. These clubs also have a thinner club face (less than 2.2 mm) made out of Carpenter 455 steel. This gives the club more yardage and a larger sweet spot.
A 5 wood is one of the more common golf clubs found in golf bags. The Bazooka Geomax 5 wood has a 19-degree angle of loft and a 59-degree angle of lie. It also has a square face angle.
The shaft on the club is made out of graphite, which is made from fibers that are coated in a resin and then wrapped together to form the shaft. The shaft on a 5 wood is 42.5 inches long.
This club's shaft has regular flex, which is a rating for how much the shaft will bend when swinging the club. A Bazooka Geomax shaft with regular flex weighs 63 grams, has a high launch and has 3.8 degrees of torque, which is a measure of how much the shaft will twist while being swung.
