We had a group of eight up there on Apr 29 thru the Doherty's golf packages. The Doherty had called to verufy that the Pines would be open considering all the rain they had and was told no problem. Our group gets out there and found out differently. As it turned out we had to play the back 4 times. I'm very disappointed in the course and will probably not return there. It was one of our favorite courses but feel we were treated very bad. The course didn't even buy us a pop for our inconvenince

An oasis in Mid-Michigan farm country. Overall value makes it my favorite course to play when I am in the area. Less expensive that the resort courses around Mt. Pleasant. Fairways and greens are well kept. Very nice view of Lake Isabella on the 15th tee. Walker friendly. Clubhouse food is very good and fairly priced. Staff is friendly and helpful.
