About the Jim McLean Golf School

Hello, my name is Christopher Toulsen and I am the Director of Instruction for the Jim McLean Golf Schools. Thank you very much for visiting our website and we appreciate your interest. We offer schools, a whole array of schools: a one-day school, a two-day, a three-day, a four-day and even a six-day school with Jim McLean. Schools are offered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every week of the year. On Saturday and Sunday, we have our two-day school, which is 10 hours of instruction, five hours a day. That school focuses on short game and long game. We have a three-day fundamental school—Friday, Saturday and Sunday—which really targets the newer golfer, focusing on the basics. We have a saying at our golf school: "You must be brilliant on the basics." So it is really helping that golfer get a good foundation for the game. Our most popular golf school is the three-day player’s school. That is 18 hours of instruction over the course of the three days, and on the last two days the students in the school will go out on the golf course with their golf professional. That school is going to cover all facets of the game: short game, long game and the mental game and course management game. That is our most popular golf school.

Christopher Toulson has worked with the Jim McLean Golf School for the past 14 years. Currently located at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, he oversees all of Jim's golf schools nationwide and has taught hundreds of schools and lessons with Jim. He has been Golf Digest and Golf Magazine's top instructor in Florida since 2000 and is one of the top teaching and playing professionals in America.
