If you want to learn how to improve your short game and be more creative around the green next time you go out and practice try different clubs and different shots to the same pin location. If you look right here, I am just off the green with about 20 feet of green to work with. I have a putter, a pitching wedge and a utility wood that I am going to hit the same shot to. I am going to set up with the putter from just off the green and putt this one to the hole. That came up just a little short. Now I am going to take my pitching wedge and hit a chip shot up on to the green. I was a little long with that one. Then I am going to take my utility wood and putt it to the hole. Oh, I made that one. By practicing this way you are creating creativity and you are learning how to hit different shots to the same situation. So the next time you go out and practice, different clubs and different shots to the same pin locations. Your short game will really get better.
