Manage Your Power Centers for More Torque in the Golf Swing

One of the things I focus on when I examine a student's swing is the power center meridian, a line connecting the sternum and the navel. I call the sternum, or breast bone area, the "upper power center" and the navel the "lower power center." A line connecting the two allows me to monitor the power center as the swing unfolds.
