Trion Z Necklace Review
Specs

Trion Z features "ionic" products that use negative ion technology to help the human body operate at an optimal level. Ionic/magnetic necklaces are single-loop necklaces made with "Mineon Health Fibers," which are woven with ion-producing materials. The necklaces also feature 1,000 Gauss axially magnetized magnets, which are designed to work in combination with the negative ions for maximum affect. Trion Z necklaces are available in nine colors and three sizes ranging from 16 1/2 to 22 1/2 inches in total length.

Perks

Many golfers claim the Trion products help with stress, anxiety, joint pain and stiffness, and several note instant improvement in ball striking. Frequent wearers also find themselves feeling more focused and refreshed. The necklaces are also very stylish and aesthetically appealing. At only $20 as of August 2009, they are also very affordable.

Sacrifices

The entire concept of the "ion" lifestyle can seem hokey and gimmicky to a lot of people, and there really isn't solid research to back it up. If you aren't into the stylish look of the necklace or are a more traditional golfer, then buying one might feel like throwing away money.

Bottom Line

Trion Z necklaces offer enough potential benefits at such little cost that they are worth a shot. You might find yourself more refreshed, energized and focused on the course, and even if it doesn't seem to have any impact, you will at least look the part.

Golf Equipment Tip of the Day

How to Give Your Golf Clubs a Tuneup
by John D. Tudor
During the course of a year, an avid golfer's clubs are swung anywhere between 18,000 and 20,000 times, carried or hauled on a golf cart for about 3,000 miles, roughly handled another 1,000 times, tossed about the trunk of a car for over 20,000 miles and swung in a variety of less-than-perfect situations involving low-hanging branches, rocks and hardpan. Obviously, the stress and strain a golf club endures goes far beyond that for which it's designed, so now is the perfect time to examine your woods and irons and, if necessary, get them back into playing shape.
