Oakley currently features eight different kinds of golf shoes, ranging in price from $90 to $130 in 2009, depending on the retail outlet. Certain soft-spiked shoes, such as the Bow Tye Two (approx. $100) are available in a number of colors, while others--including the Wide Bow Tye Two and the Limited Edition Superdrive shoe--are available in one design or color only. Oakley golf shoes feature a waterproof membrane to help keep your feet dry, as well as "Net Shape Stability," which aims to maximize support. Oakley offers 2-year limited waterproof warranty on certain shoes as well.

Perks

The waterproofing (and its accompanying warranty) is a major bonus, as some golf shoes simply don't provide the dryness required of a day on the links, particularly if the course is wet from rain or a fresh sprinkler watering. In addition to performance and comfort, all Oakley golf shoes are quite sleek-looking as well.

Sacrifices

Not much. Oakley could feature more color/style selection in its golf shoes, and the design isn't in the classic mold of other golf shoes, but these are minor quibbles with a fine golf shoe.

Bottom Line

Comfortable, sleek, durable and affordable; Oakley's line of golf shoes are some of the most desirable shoes on the market.
