Nike Sasquatch Golf Bag Review

By Clint Hale

The Nike Sasquatch Tour Bag is a hot item.
Specs

The Nike Sasquatch golf bag has a 14-way, full-length divider system, and it is suitable for walking or riding in a cart via its Nike Woven Air technology and its revolving double strap. It has 10 pockets, including pockets for water bottles and coolers and a waterproof pocket, which enables you to keep your valuables such as a cell phone, wallet and keys. The Nike Sasquatch has a 9.5-inch oval top and weighs 5.5 pounds. It retails for approximately $180. The pull-out "stand" makes this bag ideal for those who prefer walking to cart riding, because the bag can stand alone while you select clubs and then hit your shot.

Perks

The Sasquatch Tour Bag's 14-hole divider system keeps your clubs separated. Also, the bag's 10 pockets allow you to separate your tees, ball markers, golf balls, even your golf shoes and towels. The bag is lightweight and sleek.

Sacrifices

The only drawback is the price. Simply put, a golf bag isn't likely to improve your golf game in any way. On that note, $180 for a bag is pretty steep. However, if you're willing to pay the price, the bag is a winner.

Bottom Line

One of the sleekest, most efficient golf bags on the market, the Nike Sasquatch Tour Bag is a good--though expensive--investment.

Golf Equipment Tip of the Day

Using Frequency to Test the Flex of Your Shafts
by Jeff Jackson
What's the flex of your shafts? At one time, a golfer could safely answer that his or her shafts were stiff, regular or ladies flex. That simply isn't the case any longer. Most manufacturers have their own method of shaft measurement. What this means is that one company's "R" flex shaft may actually be softer than another's "A" or even "L" flex. How, then, can a golfer select the appropriate shaft if no manufacturing standard exists? In a word: frequency.
