The villages of Pinehurst, Southern Pines, and Aberdeen have long enjoyed the distinction of being premier golf destinations. Located within minutes of each other, this triangle of towns forms the Mecca of golf.
Home to many of the world's most famous courses, the village of Pinehurst has hosted more than its fair share of National tournaments, as well as the Golf Hall of Fame, which recently moved to warmer climes in Jacksonville, Florida.
Just to the east of Pinehurst is Southern Pines, home to such great courses as Mid Pines and Pine Needles, owned and operated by Peggy Kirk Bell -- a pioneer of women's golf -- and her family.
While not as well recognized by name, Aberdeen hosts a sizeable number of championship courses and outstanding resorts and hotels to make your stay comfortable and complete.
Golf Link is proud to showcase the villages of Pinehurst, Southern Pines, and Aberdeen in this, our most expansive web site yet at over 100 pages strong. Be sure to check out both the golf courses (accessible in the image map above) and golf packages.
